Match Report
Yarm School Girls-U13A vs  Queen Margarets
On: Saturday, 07 Oct 2017
Venue: Away

This was an exciting match to watch and very evenly balanced in the 1st half. The first goal was against Yarm and came in the first 5 minutes with a good hard accurate shot at goal from Queen Margarets. The Yarm team panicked a little for the next few minutes, giving simple passes away but then relaxed into some good passing which Belle Woodhead finished of to equalise just before the half-time whistle. At half-time we talked about moving the ball wide and passing into space for players to move on to and the team were all clear about what they needed to do in the second half. The response was superb with some great passing all over the pitch. One of the highlights was a pass down the wing from Ava to Olivia Fletcher who then passed a lovely ball into the circle for Ruth Fletcher to score. The 'Fletch to Fletch' goal sequence was born! Great defensive work from Poppy and Ava kept the QM team from scoring any further goals and good hard work, moving the ball selflessly around, from Phoebe and Emily ensured a score line to be proud of. Final score 5-1. Well done girls on your focus and effort.
