Match Report
Yarm School Girls-U12A vs  Teesside High
On: Monday, 09 Oct 2017
Venue: at Home

This team continues to improve week on week with their performance against Teesside High their best to date. Unlike the game previous we had a large squad for this game, and every one of them contributed positively to the final result. We started the game well and put them under pressure early by winning a number of short corners in quick succession but weren't able to convert these early chances. We did take confidence from this quick start however, and although we weren't as clinical in front of goal as we could have been, we were 3-0 up at half time thanks to two goals from Emma Foster and one from India Dunkin. We started to play much better hockey in the second half, with our passing and movement much improved. Rosie Faulkner's distribution from the back was superb and set up Miriam Akowuah to score a well finished goal. Miriam soon turned provider with a wonderful cross to India who tucked it away with a first time finish for her second of the game. Lily Harte maintained her record of scoring in every game she's played in with a smart finish and Emma completed her hat-trick late in the second half to cap off another fantastic performance from her. Overall a very impressive performance from the girls and one for them all to be proud of!

FT Result: 7-0 win PoM: Emma Foster
